Yeah, this album is a hundred million times better live. My advice: go surf the internet and find some good live bootlegs (stalking their official fan forum is a good place to start lol)

About people calling this album "radio friendly" "commercial" etc. I blame that on final production. I admit it's too watered down in some songs. But when it's played live it goes up to a higher level. Besides, you can't base your whole opinion of this albums on Take Back The City, which could have been more powerful if the producer hadn't been a pussy (sorry for language). The Golden Floor, Please Just Take These Photos From My Hands and Disaster Button only are worth the purchase. I don't need to say that The Lightning Strike is a masterpiece and a step forward for their songwriting style.

Totally radio friendly, commercial, and yet still really rather wonderful - has some very dull tracks, but also has some utterly fantastic songs that stand at the very top of the genre - the last song included. Exceptional album, but still doesn't strike me as good an album as they can make - they definatly have it in them to create something unique, different and strikingly powerful, if they can realise the potential shown in tracks like 'Set Down Your Glass', 'Disaster Button' and 'The Lightning Strike' then the next album will certainly be special.

A little better than eyes open, but still realy lame and boring, hopefully they will stop making this radio freindly shit and go back to being a unique, interesting band
