I wonder if the tracklisting is an elaborate trolling to get Iowa Slipknot fans all riled up and/or did the Connecticut submit their release first to be official before the Iowa Slipknot's management ever got to it? Well done, CT Slipknot! The CT band released their EP entitled Slipknot and that came out 10 years before IA Slipknot's self-titled album. However, IA Slipknot needs to fix this ASAP and they got the funds to do so! Boggles my mind why they didn't do it, they were super obsessive over slipknot.com being taken. I have Slipknot CT's self-titled tagged as "Slipknot EP" since the real artwork comes up for it. CT Slipknot should have theirs as "Slipknot EP" to avoid confusion with the more known and prominent Slipknot full-length album (which is technically their 2nd album/1st major label album, I know Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat. is their real first album). Not a fan of the IA band, but it would be fair that this release has the tracklisting of the 1999 album.

For fans of the crossover thrash metal band, this is the correct tag: https://www.last.fm/music/Slipknot/Slipknot%20EP

Послушав большое количество альбомов slipknot. Я понимаю ,что всё говно на фоне дебютника. Люблю только его!

One of my most favorite albums. He's dirty, he's aggressive, he's tough, he's raw. This is how nu metal should be.

About incorrect tracklist: there was another Slipknot (thrash band) back in 80s: https://www.discogs.com/ru/release/380725-Slipknot-Slipknot

On the original version, track 8 is an interlude titled “Frail Limb Nursery” followed by “Purity” as track 9. “Me Inside” wasn’t on that version. Due to a copyright issue, “Frail Limb Nursery” was to be removed from subsequent pressings and the band chose to remove “Purity” as well since those two songs go together. “Me Inside” is the track that replace them both.

for people who didn't know, the tracklist is from an EP released by another band with the same name back in 1989, the band was active from 1980 up until 1989

Not sure what y'all are talking about, this tracklist is correct. Connecticut Slipknot was first. May thrash live on.

Agreed. I can almost understand a streaming service like Tidal throwing two nobody artists together, but when your literal point is to show what artists people are listening to it's honestly pretty dumb to not have this basic-ass shit sorted out. It's not like it should be particularly difficult - Sputnikmusic and RYM already figured it out, the latter what I assume to have been before lfm existed
