I've given the new albums a chance over the years but I pretty much can't get into them, which sucks because I'd love to be excited about having new music from Skinny Puppy whenever they release something. I would agree with fisk0 that The Greater Wrong of the Right is better than this one, but still isn't something I want to listen to much when I have 10 or so other albums from the band at its peak I could play instead and love hearing.

I actually enjoy it 70% more when I think it is not SP...then it is just a fun 'trendy' electro record :)

I have a hard time still calling this SP. It has great moments but unfortuantly a lot of mumbo-jumbo (not in a good way!)

being a fan of their old stuff (pre 1990) i dont know what to say about this new SP revolutionary blabber mouth poppy crap. I feel it just doesnt suit them. After years of making awesome hits and losing a member and continueing to make great songs..this long awaited album comes out..its like god personally took a crap in my ears and i cant hear skinny puppy clearly.

This is so weak compared to old Puppy...and from old I mean from the beginning to the also horrible Process.

AWESOME Skinny Puppy Album. And just as great(or better) as others; I love the experimental sound.

I like the stretching kinda sound they use throughout this album but i found it one of their more boring albums.

tho i admire the guts of ogre and key to make an "experimental" album at this stage of their career, i think they got a bit too far from their legendary unique style. Mythmaker is not a terrible album to listen to, but i don't think it will ever be considered a Puppy's classic, such as VIVISectVI, Rabies, Too Dark Park, etc.
