Why is the ending of this album sorta become IDM before it existed 😳😳 sounds ahead of its time.

This is my favorite Skinny Puppy album and i can feel the presence in production of Bill Leeb in this one. Very ahead of its time and very unique, love instrumental ambiental tracks like Tomorrow, Centre Bullet, One Day, also classics like Assimilate, The Choke and Dead Lines. 10/10.

Weird that this is the most listened to from Skinny Puppy. A good debut LP but IMO it doesn't hold up when you compare it to the godlike work they were doing as soon as the next album. But then again, not much does. Also, as Idiots-Rule alluded to, this is a much better album (naturally) when you take it in its original 9-song version rather than having all the bonus tracks that were added later.

I had no idea the original vinyl had nine tracks only. I definitely prefer that. That made it a more consistent album, if still somewhat overrated for SP. I'd keep "The Centre Bullet" in there, though.

I think it was a mistake to release a 17 track mishmash of all the versions that previously existed of the album. The original 9 tracks form an entity.
