I'm pretty much speechless. Jónsi's voice in this song... it's so... incredible.

"that's the proof of God's existence (no offence, atheists)." Lame quote really. Ruined it for me...

is it just me or does the ending of it is similar to the beginning of Milanó? anyway, this is incredible, probably my favourite from Valtari [4]

I can't find the words to describe this song, when the soprano comes in I feel the sound going straight into me, I can actually feel something holding my heart. It's so utterly beautiful.

Seriously... when I listen to this song the following scenery comes to my mind.. Imagine the following things happening in super-slow-motion: A dusty night in a small village in the Mideast. Desert-like athmosphere the bright moon is spending its light while the US soldiers are running, shouting, hiding in covers, having a fight with radical Islamists who are shooting back from these simple thick-walled houses. Then suddenly an extremely bright light appears blinding everybody. Everyones protecting their eyes with their hands. Then the light disappears and all soldiers let their weapons drop. The Islamists leave their houses and the soldiers their covers. They approach one another with arms extended, tears dropping from their eyes into the dust. Then the soldiers enfold each other in their arms. Finally everyones leaving the battlefield talking and laughing while the sun rises. Yeah.. I think this song could really be a war ender.

Like this is up there with Ara Batur as one of their most emotionally staggering songs ever.
