Serçe is sezen aksu's second album consisting of very spontaneous ballads, reinterpreted traditional songs/Türk Sanat Müziği and some fun uptempo tracks.
After she had gained attention in 1976/1977, sezen released a compliation album of most of her singles to expand her career and rebrand every single time.
Months later sezen also released a biographical visual movie called ''Minik Serçe'' which it was supposed to be a another loose adaption of ''a star was born'' due to different storyline.
Well few songs had been reworked for the flim (also in allahaısmarladık and ağlamak güzeldir)
Kaybolan yillar and kaç yil geçti aradan were considered well known hits for the album.
So this is why the reason she was known/called as ''Minik Serçe'' (little sparrow of pop) and this is marked as pop history of türkiye
