Firuze is sezen's fifth album released in 1982.
In a quarter of three albums in early 80s where sezen had spanned some ballad songs, first three funk-pop ending tracks and re-shaping the sound of flim chanson.
Firuze is one of most darkest and murky of all of three albums ever produced, also the title track was mainly written by aysel gürel which it considered as her well memorable aysel songs she wrote for.
Then tarkan re-interpreted the title track.

Zelzele (a song about earthquakes) was supposed to be released by orhan gencebay's own version at first (due to the ban on arabesque music) during the opposition for a westernised music regime, sezen finally re-interpreted it for her album.
bir zamanlar deli gönlüm was actually featured on a flim ''o kadın'' also was reworked in 2002.
Actually, Sezen Aksu always had this accent, Sezen, in the commemoration program of Aysel Gürel, "It looks like we wrote it together, but out of her kindness she made me write my name," Aysel's words are Turquoise… "While saying; after reading Firuze at his last concert in Zürich, greetings from here to the songwriter Aysel Gürel.
