Scissor Sisters is one of those bands that no matter how down I am, they can ALWAYS make me smile. [2]

And I think they didn't get the singles wrong. They wanted to emphasize (the first time was with "Mary") they weren't just a bunch of party animals by showing some ballads with "Land of a Thousand Words", especially right after the huge sucess of "IDFLD". When it comes to both "She's My Man" and "Kiss You Off", besides of being slightly different in style (one is closer to glam rock, the other to synth pop), they're upbeat and fan favorites. At least, I want to believe that way. :)

@rustystake/abbagirl: and it was single, as a matter of fact. It was released in a limited edition and was available to fans only through the official website of the band. http://www.discogs.com/Scissor-Sisters-Lights/release/1372958 Due to poor charting positions on prior single releases, Polydor decided not to release the fifth single (each one representing a character from Ta-Dah's artwork) as planned, but it seems that the Sisters didn't want to disappoint, at least, their true followers. :)
