The Sara Bareilles album " Little Voice ," (2007 debut at #45 on the Billboard 200) with its two top songs later becoming wildly popular hits as music videos "Love Song" and "Bottle it Up," (see vh1's "Top 20 Music Video Countdown"), including less well known but equally deserving songs such as "One Sweet Love" and "Morningside" together added character and depth to the album.
The music videos of "Love Song" and "Bottle it Up" were many people's introduction into the delightfully unconventional world of Ms. Bareilles' music. And what a great world it is! Daring tempo changes and pauses don't detract from the charming personality of her music, they add to it. Her smooth alto voice, catchy tunes, and clever lyrics are often sung playfully with a shy smile, and the " Little Voice ,"makes her smile and her album hard to resist.
