Saor have the very big chance to be the best atmoblack band in my library. Wait, no, not just in my library — in the whole genre so far!

Andy already writing a new album, per Saor's facebook. AND a new Fuath LP this coming April!

I cannot indicate the best Saor's release, all of them leads me through the amazing beauty landscapes. It's true splendor.

Aura is still my favorite but Forgotten Paths is a real grower. Monadh has such a wonderful melody.

Не ожидал что Forgotten Paths будет настолько крут, шикарная фолковая атмосфера, мягкий, но гармонично вписывающийся пассажами блэк. Трек Bròn, особенно начало, приятно напомнило о Midnight Odyssey

После прослушивания 'Forgotten Paths' хочется уйти в лес, выпить воды из горного ручья, скушать ягод, укрыться мхом, а не вот это вот всё...

i'm gonna be the only party pooper here to say that the new album doesn't do anything to me at all. I gave it a couple of listens waiting for some magic to happen, but no... at least not yet. Then i went and listened to what he was doing in Askival... I know you can't compare, but his Saor stuff just sounds so polished and perfect compared to Askival that somehow it feels to me it's lacking soul or something...

Why's the runtime so important to some of you folks? Shouldn't the quality of the actual material be? I know, you had your doubts regarding his creative well running dry. Turns out it's a breathtaking album as it is. Especially that Neige-part in "Forgotten Paths" is completely out of this world. How can anyone be this good at creating art?

38 mins is THE standart length for an LP. It's been this wayy all the time from the 60's. Glad now artists started to realize how golden this LP length is, they don't put flawed overlong CDs anymore like it was back in 90s.

I never said it's not important, but especially the Atmospheric Black Metal genre in its current state is getting drowned by overlong albums that can't even catch me for 38 minutes. Atmosphere and execution are far more important to be honest and one of my favorite black metal releases of all time clocks in at 42 minutes. So, to sum it up, all I wanted to say was that I can't comprehend that runtime-cult. Sure, it's a factor, but there's more important aspects.

I agree with everyone here. I too was a little miffed that there wasn't a fourth full-(Saor)-length song, but I'm absolutely thrilled that the three tracks he composed are more than what I've come to expect from Mr. Marshall.
