“Kill Bill” is the third single on SZA’s sophomore album SOS. The title references the iconic Kill Bill film duology directed by Quentin Tarantino.
On the surface, SZA sings about wanting to kill her ex and his new girlfriend. However, this notably coincides with the plot of the iconic 2003-2004 Kill Bill film duology. The movies tell the story of Beatrix Kiddo, an assassin who goes on a vengeful killing spree that eventually ends with her ex-lover Bill. The song is currently #2 worldwide.
