Good song otherwise but that high-picthed sound in the end hurts my damaged ears

Almost thirty years since I first listened to this album and I'm just now realizing (thanks to a careful listen and all of your comments) that that's an electric violin!

The way Signals closes, with this track and "Countdown", seem to conflict in varying degrees to the rest of the album...which is to their benefit, for sure. "Losing It" is rather unique musically, but emotionally ties into the long running staple of so-called 'sad' songs (Bravado, Nobody's Hero, etc) that the band has a real gift for. Their rarity makes them more enjoyable as well.

i dont get the hate for this song... at all... that bit where it speeds up is one of their best moments

This is actually one of my favorites off of the Signals album...and emotive masterpiece.

I had trouble getting used to this song after being a hardcore rush fan for years, but, as many times as i've skipped this song, i'm beginning to love it...

what a powerful song. the violins remind me of some of david gilmour's slide guitar work, don't know why. it is such a beautiful song anyhow

One of the greatest Rush never played live. Still love this song after all these years

This is quickly becoming one of my favourite Rush songs. I overlooked it in the past so very very wrongfully. It's beautiful.

Very powerful song. It's almost scary what the lyrics tell, they almost have the same feeling of Run of the Mill, by Judas Priest.
