one of my fav album even if I prefer Marilyn Manson or Alice Cooper to Rob Zombie , these sounds are perfect how they are mixed and played, I love the music behind it better than Rob Zombie vocals, but also those lyrics aren't easy they've got talent

Wonderful album! I remember listening to this frequently back in the late 1990's.

Good album. And, maybe it's just me, but Rob makes such serious sounding music that, in its seriousness, it somehow manages to mock similar sounding music, yet simultaneously stands on its own as being genuinely good. It always felt to me like some kind of satirical mock rock or perhaps something that Hollywood thinks those no-good teens listen to in movies. If that makes sense.

Definitely the best of his solo stuff. Of course this can't touch his work in White Zombie. That being said this album has some absolute classics. Spookshow Baby, Meet the Creeper, The Ballad Resurrection all classics.

very trashy and with a high cult-factor, that's Rob's strength. The best album of him for me, followed by The Sinister Urge, also very good.
