"AMAZING” is the second official single from Rex Orange County’s fourth studio album "WHO CARES?", following “KEEP IT UP” which was released the month prior.
Rex previewed the song for the first time during a live-stream on TikTok on February 2, 2022. During the stream, he stated that the song is “for the lovers” and hinted at its release as a single.
On February 14, 2022, the single was officially released, accompanied by the official music video.
