I think the end symbolizes pretty well the frustration of the band at the time...so much shit going on...OHM is not only more rocking than any other RHCP album because of Dave but also because it's an outlet and this last minute has always sounded to me like they just throw everything out, happy that this album is over with all the bad times they've put into it.

I think I've listened to this song so many times over the last 6-7 years that I can't judge it anymore. I still think that without the last minute it would have been a perfect, crystallised, pop single; I even did a new bridge and spliced bits together to create it when I remixed the whole album a couple of years ago. It just sounds like a whole other song spliced on the end, and I believe it would have worked better as part of One Big Mob. Oh well... as a story about Rivers, and a reflection of Kiedis's anger at the time, I guess it stands proud.
