I can't help but be passingly reminded of Psychic TV, in a good way. I wonder if Mr. P-Orridge is aware of Ramases. I suppose it's the singer's voice. I can't believe I haven't heard of this artist until now.

Some of the Ramases stuff was produced by Godley & Creme, who were friends of TG, so I find it very likely that GPO was aware of them... Tibet also wrote linernotes for the box set of Ramases re-issues, which makes it even more likely that the PTV gang were aware of this band. Cheers, TTTTT

"You're the only one Joe" is clearly a reference to the TOP psychedelic, down and out of luck film Midnight Cowboy, which is one of the most 60's brilliant films ever. And features that awesome song "old man willow" by Elephants Memory.

You gotta hear this one, it's a bridge between the folk-tinged psychedelia of the 1960s and the space rock/prog rock of the 1970s. Weird background story -- more on that at psychedelicsight.com

Believe the hype. This is a totally weird and utterly gonzo gem. Listen to any track, and you will want to hear the others. And each track reveals more, (including hidden naughty words) on each listen..... Put the headphones on and you will not need any chemicals to get you into the magical world of Ramases.

I'll check out glass top coffin also due to the comments here! probably heard it but the tracks on space hymns are the ones i remember well and the ones that have fueled my intergalactic space cruiser through many an acid trip in the 90's
