'These Are My Twisted Words' was released on August 17th 2009 as a free download and torrent on www.radiohead.com with the following note from Jonny Greenwood:
So here's a new song, called 'These Are My Twisted Words'.The download came with various artwork pictures by Radiohead's artistic associates, Stanley Donwood and Dr Tchock. It came with instructions that the artwork should be printed on tracing paper and put "in an order that pleases you."We've been recording for a while, and this was one of the first we finished.
We're pretty proud of it.There's other stuff in various states of completion, but this is one we've been practicing, and which we'll probably play at this summer's concerts. Hope you like it.
Though the original blog post has since been deleted, it has been archived and can be viewed here, via The WayBack Machine. This means the orignal mp3 and the other included files can still be downloaded officially.
