“Coffee” tells the story of the end of a probable fling and marks Quinn XCII’s first collaboration with Californian singer Marc E. Bassy. Despite the song’s theme of an ending relationship, it bears Quinn’s signature uptempo sound similar to “Flare Guns,” featuring Chelsea Cutler.
On the day of release Quinn talked about the filming of the music video on Instagram:
"With the restrictions of quarantine we were forced to make the video for “Coffee” from home. With the help of iPhones, security footage, and our amazingly talented director and friend @_blythethomas directing over a Zoom chat for over 12 hours with the rest of her team, we got to make what is my favorite video yet. I’d also be completely remiss if I didn’t mention my spectacular wife @macyxcii, who filmed this ENTIRE video herself and is truly the reason it got to the finish line. Hope you guys enjoy ☕️"
