This track is featured in the opening credits for the Austin Powers motion pictures, and was sampled by the Dream warriors. In the opening of Austin Powers in Goldmember, Quincy Jones himself makes a brief appearance as the conductor of this track.
According to the Soul Bossa Nova Songfacts, the song took Jones just 20 minutes to compose.
