A high quality album of 80s Soul, Jazz, Funk, Disco. Sometimes it seems to anticipate Michael Jackson's "Thriller" but this is no wonder - Quincy Jones produced "Thriller"!

The whole Dude album is hot, but I like the coolest cut on the project "Velas" it puts you somewhere no other song could take you. A simple whistle and harmonica solo makes you feel like your on a remote island with your favorite person and the right beverage. He's so cool you can't ignore him, HE'S THE DUDE!

My personal favourite cut from this album is Razzamatazz... Patti Austin + Q + Temperton is a dream team to rank alongside the MJ/Q/Temperton one. But then again, there's just so much amazing stuff on this album. Shout out to James Ingram as well.
