In an April 11, 2022 interview with Charlamagne tha God, Pusha T revealed “Brambleton,” a deep cut from IT’S ALMOST DRY. It was described as a “very personal record.”
In the song, Push addresses his relationship with his former manager, Anthony ‘Geezy’ Gonzales, and how he felt after watching the latter’s infamous March 2020 VladTV interview, where he talked about managing Clipse—Pusha T and No Malice’s duo, the song “S.N.I.T.C.H.” and his drug-dealing past.
The title comes from Brambleton, a street in Norfolk, Virginia, where Push’s late mother used to work as a pharmacist technician during his early life.
“Brambleton” debuted and peaked at #100 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the chart week ending May 7, 2022.
