Biography
There are many artists with the name Purple:
1. An electronic artist Luis Dourado from Portugal.
He was first introduced to the scene through Terrain Ahead, an electronic collective/label he founded with other Portugal artists IVVVO and Trikk.
He self released his debut record Violence in 2011. It gained interest from many people in the music sphere, including Los Angeles producer Shlohmo.
After a few initial conversations, Purple became an official member of Shlohmo’s Los Angeles crew/label WeDidIt, and in November of 2013 Purple released his first record with the label entitled Salvation.

6. A trance project of Richard Kegg from Brighton, UK, and a label DJ for Youth's (Killing Joke) Dragonfly Records since 1996.
He has released a DJ mix Dragonfly 'A Voyage Into Trance' in 1997, a 12" Cascades / Anoxic in 1999, a collaboration with Lunar Subtle Thrust in 2000, and a split with Ticon Money Shot / Lo - Mi - Hi in 2000.
He also makes music under the name 4 On The Floor.
7. PURPLE (퍼플) is a three-member project girl group, consisting of Hashtag members Dajeong, Subin and Seungmin, under LUK Factory. They debuted on September 18, 2018 with the single "Maemmaeya".
