Potret is a music group that was formed in Jakarta at 1995, Indonesia. Potret is a music project from two great indonesian musicians. Melly Goeslaw is the vocalist, as well as the creator of all the songs in the Potret's albums. Anto Hoed (Her Husband), is the music arranger for all songs of Potret. Aksan Syuman (Ex Drummer of Dewa 19), is a Potret's drummer who emphasize the quality of this band music. This is a good collaboration of husband and wife. Arie Ayunir, who made the cover, lyrics, and playing guitar for "Café" album in 1998. Potret first album is entitled "Potret (Self Title)" was released in 1995, and result hit single "Salah". After 5 years not released an album, in the year 2008, among the new band onset that dominate of indonesia's music industry, Potret comes with a new album and create a very unique song titled "I Just Wanna Say I Love You". this song lyrics is only just round the track. and this is a genius idea of Melly Goeslaw. Potret, is a band that always appear with the lyrics, simple lyrics, bold, and communicative.
