"Motley Crew" is a song by American rapper and singer Post Malone, released on July 9, 2021, through Republic Records. The song marked his first solo release in almost two years.

Post Malone's manager Dre London previewed "Motley Crew" on July 4, 2021, to celebrate American Independence Day, and Post's birthday.

The video was shot at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California, and thus features a racing motif with cameo appearances by NASCAR drivers Denny Hamlin and Bubba Wallace. The video also features drummer Tommy Lee, who drives Malone around the track in a custom convertible. Lee's band, Mötley Crüe, serve as the song's titular inspiration. The video also features cameos from Malone's previous collaborators, including Saint Jhn, Tyla Yaweh, Tyga, Ty Dolla $ign, Big Sean, and French Montana. Rapper Pressa, singer BabySantana, and Malone's manager Dre London all make appearances as well. The video was directed by Cole Bennett.

The song was originally teased on June 30, 2021.

A motley crew is a mixed group that is comprised of unexpected people. As such, the track mainly focuses on Post’s lifestyle of partying and luxurious living with his ‘motley crew’ of friends. This is only accentuated in the Lyrical Lemonade music video, which is comprised of a handful of musicians, ranging from rapper French Montana to (Mötley Crüe’s) drummer Tommy Lee, who Post and Tyla Yaweh named a song after.

Stylistically, this song is a return to the Post Malone of old, with a closer resemblance to rap instead of the primarily pop-driven Hollywood’s Bleeding. With a spooky melody floating in the background and a more bass-heavy instrumental that differs from recent releases, he still manages to showcase his easily identifiable voice.

Tommy Lee, who Tyla Yaweh and Post Malone named a song after and collaborated with in 2020, announced in an Instagram Story on June 30, 2021, the title of the song and that he would be in the music video. A snippet from the music video shoot leaked online on July 2, 2021. Post Malone finally teased the song and its music video on social media on July 7, 2021.

During the week ending July 24, 2021, “Motley Crew” debuted and peaked at #13 on the Hot 100.
