“Openings and closings, beginnings and endings. Everything in between passes as quickly as the blink of an eye. An eternity precedes the opening and another, if not the same, follows the closing. Somehow everything that lies in between seems for a moment more vivid. What is real to us becomes forgotten, and what we don't understand will be forgotten, too.” ― Philip Glass

if I had the chance to listen to one last song before I die, it would most certainly be Mad Rush.

Had the joy of seeing James McVinnie Ensemble perform Glassworks in its entirety last night at the Barbican Centre. Wonderful!

There's no better feeling than destroying yourself to Metamorphosis Four. Sounds like broken dreams and what could have been, love it.

Listening to Satyagraha right now, and the first scene of the second act is indescribable to me. It's not often that something that completely changes your ideas of quality music appears, but it definitely fits that category. Completely cathartic and transcendental music that honestly moved me to tears.
