He left us with one incredible body of work. Selfishly, I can only dream about what may have been were Phil in his 70s, still with us, releasing albums. His combination of grit and sensitivity, artfulness and easy going story telling...You can find elements of that here and there, but nobody has put it all together quite like Phil did. May you watch over us and rest well, Phil.

"and if the boys want to fight you better let 'em". I only wonder what more you could have offered.

The best front-man ever, and the solo stuff was pretty damn good as well. RIP Philo.

Actually scratch that, throw in Wilgar Campbell, who was one of Rory's drummers in the early 70s!

Phil Lynott should do an collab with Rory Gallagher and Gary Moore up in heaven. Maybe throw in Cozy Powell even though he was English, not Irish :P
