“Ram” is my favorite solo work by Paul, but considering all post-Beatles solo albums it is my #2, behind only “All Things Must Pass” (George).

In spite of the atmosphere of hostility towards other Beatles that surrounds some of the songs of this album of McCarneys', Ram is a perfect half-carefree, half-serious set of songs. From '3 Legs' to 'Uncle Albert' to 'Heart of the Country' - all very distinct, wish nice sound effects, and marvellously performed.

This must have been mixed by some heavenly being. There is no other explanation.

As good as pop music gets, right here. Better than anything the Beatles did, as far as I'm concerned!

Paul's best solo album. I underrated it for way too long. Dear Boy and Ram On are two of my favorite Solo Beatles songs period.
