I bought World Without Rules back in 96, the Planetary Traveler VHS the following year, and have heard a couple of the Tangerine Dream albums he played on. Haven't heard anything else. Besides scores is there any other notable releases I should check out?

"World Without Rules" is very compelling material. Redolent of [artist]Ulf Söderberg[/artist] - the tribal, often frenetic atmosphere - but far less Teutonic and more eclectic in its inclusion of global styles. I thought I would revile the electronica, but the confluence of dramatic African percussion and mid-90's post-rave techno is refreshing... the whole mélange co-operates assiduously to produce an exceptional whole. Cheers Paul. I absolutely loathe the Underworld films and all of Statham's generic braggadocio pictures, but what are the soundtracks like?

The first part of eternity and a day (till 2:05) is one of the most epic pieces of music ever made.

Just got Takers Amazon cd-r edition, and sadly I agree with Julia, something really missing... can't be compared with Paul's great usual work, in other way his score for the 2009 thriller "After Life" starring Liam Neeson is great ! Unfortunatly no label have published this music to the public, even in mp3 lossy format...

I don't care how good a score sounded during the movie i just cannot listen to them on their own. AGH. Shootem up is a great movie though.

The Death Race OST is really good, although there's definitely a lot of Fragile-era NIN influence. Then again, maybe that's why I like it.

Paul's scores are always compelling.... i would love to study under him toward my eventual goal of scoring for film.
