Patty Larkin's song, Good Thing, was featured in the movie, Random Hearts (2000), starring Harrison Ford and Kristin Scott Thomas in a special arrangement of this song under the musical direction of Dave Grusin. In that version, the song begins with a piano and string section introduction, and then leads into the body of the song as it exists in other versions. The song can be found in a variety of versions with different instrumentation on Ms. Larkin's own CDs.
