"Forget Me Nots" is a song co-written and performed by American R&B musician Patrice Rushen. The song appears on Rushen's seventh album Straight from the Heart. The single reached #23 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, #4 on the Billboard R&B charts, #2 on the Billboard dance charts, and #8 on the UK Official Charts. Rushen scored her first nomination for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance at the 1983 Grammy Awards with this recording.
The song was prominently featured in the film Big, starring Tom Hanks. Songs that have sampled "Forget Me Nots" include George Michael's "Fastlove" and Will Smith's "Men in Black."
