Biography
Paper Hearts is the musical outlet of Stockholm-based Gustav Tranback. Gustav started his musical career as a nine-year-old playing the guitar. By the age of nineteen he left Sweden for the tempting beat of London to study the guitar on a higher level. It was at that time the idea of Paper Hearts started to grow.
Later that year the debut single 'I Want To Be You' was released. The song was celebrated by blogs all over the world and received a bit of air time on Swedish national radio. Two more singles followed shortly after and thus completing the trilogy. The first year in the Paper Hearts story had come to an end.
After three highly praised singles the next step was an EP. On May 30th Paper Hearts' debut EP 'On Top Of The World' was released. The lead single 'Fly Away' received an extremely positive response and was played over a 1000 times within the first 2 days.
In November that year the first single since the EP was released. It is called 'One Of Me' and is also featured on the double a-side vinyl 'One Of Me / Yesteryears'. This 7" marks the first physical release to emerge from Paper Hearts but definitely not the last.
As 2012 became 2013 new plans started to grow. An album started to take form, and after many months of hard work the result could finally be spotted on the horizon. The debut album 'Dreamless Space' is out the 19th of April with the first single being released a few weeks in advance.
