Better than their later stuff! Phil still did the higher notes here, hence his vocals weren't as one-dimensional yet. Besides that, the music's still more Thrash/Traditional Heavy Metal inspired here, while already showing hints of the Groove Metal that would come!

Either this or Power Metal was their ultimate high to me. I'd probably say this one out of nostalgia for being my first Pantera album, which I bought because I thought the cover was funny. It still holds up pretty well.

I wonder if you've seen Pantera's 1996 live version of Walk. I think you'd like Phils shirt

only 60 minutes? That is a normal length, or more than normal, most of the albums are around 40 minutes.

Fucking classic and a metal masterpiece from start to finish. One of my all time favourite records. I also think every track is gold on this album in its own way. Not one bad song! Dimebag was best metal guitar player and god to ever walk the earth. We all know you still slay up in heaven bro. <3 \\m/ your legacy will live on forever in my heart! <3 \\m/

Some songs I absolutely love on this album like CFH, Heresy, Domination, and The Art of Shredding. A couple of the songs I really don't like at all, and never grew on me over the years, like Psycho Holiday, Clash With Reality, Medicine Man, and Message in Blood.
