The title track of Panic! At The Disco’s seventh album, Viva Las Vengeance, serves as a stomping, reflective introduction to the album’s main themes, which is Brendon living life at his hometown of Las Vegas, being struck with fame and the burnout that follows.
“Viva Las Vengeance” was initially teased with the surfacing of a “sleep calculator” website called Shut Up And Go To Bed, which shared a clip of “Do It To Death”, the last track of Viva Las Vengeance.
Mike Viola, the main collaborator on this album, said in a Livestream that this song was written in his living room, with Brendon sitting on his couch.
