1) Overdose is a metal pioneer band from the Brazilian region of Minas Gerais formed in 1983. In 1985, they divided with Sepultura the most famous split album of Brazilian metal, also the first LP released by the label Cogumelo Records. "Século XX" assured countrywide recognition to the band. Their first LP was Conscience in 1987, followed by the album You're Really Big released in 1989 and featuring a melodic Heavy Metal sound.

In 1990 Overdose recorded Addicted to Reality conceiving their sound. Two years later the band released Circus of Death which was the base of various later recordings. Progress of Decadence, their most famous effort and also their most exotic album was released in 1993 through the U.S. label Futurist. During that time the band developed a consistent mixture between Brazilian folkloric drums, whistles and thrash. Their lyrics were based upon social problems and desolated landscapes of poverty in capitalistic societies.

Soon afterwards, the band headed for a world tour, achieving huge success specially in the US. That success leaded the recording of Scars in 1995, more focused in mastery than their earlier album. In 1997, former Sepultura and The Mist guitarist Jairo Guedz briefly joined the band before moving on to join Eminence.

2) Overdose is a polish heavy metal band, formed in 2008 in Jedrzejow. The band consists of Adrian Morąg (vocals), Tomasz Frej (guitar), Jarosław Morąg (guitar) Karol Kaleta (bass) and Patryk Pająk (drums).

6) Overdose was a Serbian HC punk/crossover/industrial band from Belgrade active in the late 80s and during the 90s. The band was originally formed in 1988 under the name Kerozin. This name was changed into Overdose in 1989.

7) Overdose is a young hardcore/punk band from Zagreb,Croatia. Changed their name into Passive Aggressive.

8) Overdose was a Norwegian punk band which appeared on the Bloodstains Across Norway comp.

11) Overdose was a hip-hop duo from Flint, Michigan, United States that stemmed from the remnants of the original M.C. Breed and DFC camp. The duo, rapper Overdose (real name: Melvin Odell Nunley) and producer/DJ/multi-instrumentalist DJ Psycho (real name: Dezi Magby) released one album, "Shock Therapee" in May of 1994.

12) Overdose is a five-member boy group formed for Boys Planet's Artist Battle. The group is made up of K-Group Lee Jeong Hyeon (이정현), G-Group's Zhang Hao (章昊), Jay Chang, Chen Kuan Rui (陳冠叡), and Ricky (沈泉锐). Together, they performed and released "Over Me".
