Got to see Ours for the 7th or 8th time tonight here in Toronto and chatted with Jimmy Gnecco afterwards for a few minutes. He was as lovely as ever! And the band was in top form - they played for 2 hours and 45 minutes straight with now breaks!! Wow.

I've lost count of how many times and places I've said it already, Happy Birthday to Jimmy. Human Being of the Year for me, the only person who ever inspired me to hop on a plane for them, the ultimate healer through music and wonderful person. <3

Wow, I actually really like the new album! I've been listening to Ours since Distorted Lullabies, and I didn't really like Mercy, so this is very refreshing to me. This new album has more of the Distorted Lullabies/Precious sound that I loved so much, but it's still its own thing too.

Great show in Salt Lake City tonight! I was kind of sad I didn't get to hear them play "Bells" live, but they played a couple of new songs that were awesome...I'm really excited for the new album now! I didn't know how they could top Mercy, but it sounds like they just might do it!

@KilgoreHInes---I have to say, that's a pretty clueless comment. "Devil" is a good track, not my favorite thing they've done, but solid. And what's wrong with a pledge drive? You don't have to pay anything until the record comes out, and you can get lots of other cool stuff along with it. If you don't like it, fine, don't do it. And if you don't want to support the band, just shut up, nobody cares what you think.

I used to love this band, but Devil is a disappointment, as much as this "raise money for our next record cycle". I know and I love lots of indie bands, who are never begging for money, just make awesome tunes. You should learn from them, Jimmy.
