Well, what goes up must come down. And down. And down. Everyone looks ill at the end of the night, all lost the power of speech, desperately avoiding eye contact. Your new soulmate that you've been talking codshit to all night about the story of creation or the fourth Star Wars film is now a complete stranger, you can't even look him in the eye. The only thing you've got in common now is paranoia. It's coming through the walls, man. The children of ecstasy aren't safe anymore. We're no longer all together as one - but separate mental patients that yearn to be ejected out of this poisoned atmosphere to a warm bed and friendly therapist. Reality's on her way. Where am I? What have I done? Was it worth it? And by the way, what the fuck happened here? All you have to look forward to now is unconsciousness, but you can never sleep.

human traffic summed this track up perfectly, perfect listening after a long night clubbing.

Over half my life ago, I used to put this on loop and give my girlfriends massages in a dark room after we got totally stoned out of our minds on cannabis. Invariably, they either became increasingly amorous or fell asleep. Amusingly enough, I used to think you couldn't get much higher than that. I was not entirely incorrect. However, as always, I was mostly incorrect. All these years later, I cannot help but fondly reminisce on those moments during the smooth as silk tempo downshift around the six minute timestamp. Nowadays it reminds me of the perception of time coalescing, seeming to condense and momentarily halt while ingesting nitrous oxide in the middle of an LSD trip. Like a self tying bow on a Christmas present, the way the composition wraps itself up in reverse with that final synth note reverberating out into spacetime. Beautiful. Thanks for the lovely message across time, dear Orbital. It's been a close companion through some of my most cherished moments.

One of my favourites, but quality sound quality is a bit rubbish on this vid.

The original "loved up" track from my Hacienda days. This song is indelibly etched with so many amazing memories. And still a classic track - makes the hairs stand up on the back of neck. Peace.
