The One Voice Children's Choir is a non-profit organization (formerly known as the 2002 Winter Olympic Children's Choir) created with the goal of sharing the love and magic of music. Choir members range in age from 5 to 17 and live in Utah. They sing original compositions or arrangements by director Masa Fukuda with lyricist Jeanine Laskey. In addition to typical choir activities, choir members are given unparalleled opportunities to participate in songwriting/composition workshops, professional recording sessions, and voice lessons. The children also have the opportunity to study and perform with many of the area's talented musicians and artists. These artists often donate their time and talents to the children who, in turn, donate their time and talents to other non-profit organizations and charities. Over the years, our choir has participated in events to benefit other children such as; Operation Smile, A Child’s Hope Foundation, the Utah African Alliance, and Shriner's Hospital for Children, to name a few. The brightness of the children's eyes, the goodness of their hearts, and the powerful message of their music has touched countless hearts and helped these organizations reach their own humanitarian goals.
