I have a pendant for sale. Not original. Material: stainless steel. Price: 8€ + 10€ shipping. Payment on PayPal. Shipping worldwide from Ukraine. Amount: 1 piece. Note: was used during some time. Badge still looks pretty nice, but chain was made of low quality material and lost its color.

The second half of the album is definitely better. But damn I'm pretty disappointed. Unity, and Solemn are really good the rest of the album didn't contain a single memorable moment. Don't think they'll be able to top The Redshift or Beyond.

I absolutely disagree, I think the album is a return to form after two so-so releases. Certainly feels fresh and has, to me, a ton of memorable moments that aren't just their older songs recycled (like a lot of Burning Cold and Grey Heavens was, and I liked those albums), I was surprised by some guitar tunes that sounded more like shoegazy dream pop than anything else. If anything I started to lose focus a bit in the second half of the album but I think it's a pretty even affair, and "Reckoning" is easily one of the best songs in the band's history.

Total agree with you, man. New World Shadows, New Dynamic and Reckoning stand on a top of all tracks I have ever listened from these guys.

This is my Melodic Death/Doom Metal Project! Highly influenced by Insomnium and Omnium Gatherum. This is our latest single with lyric video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PdoP5NEsKyU

They've got cancelled tour shirts available but only until the 22nd of March to support both Omnium and Insomnium https://www.backstagerockshop.com/pages/search-results-page?q=CANCELLED+NORTH+AMERICA+TOUR+2020 All proceeds go to the two bands who are worried they might not be able to continue after the cancelled tour in the US.

"This is very sad and frustrating for us but also a huge financial disaster for both Insomnium and Omnium Gatherum. Right now we don't know how we can continue... Once we get home we will think about how we can salvage the financial situation of both bands. We will try to come up with some sort of fundraising campaign or something. We are going to need the help of our fans. If we can get past these difficult times we will try to make this same tour happen again in the future." I hope they can get enough support to continue, I would be totally heartbroken :(

I was checking the bands that are performing on Rockharz Festival next week and your comment made me want to see them :) Thanks!

Album of the year to me, one of the rarest where all songs are truly great. Descent follower of Beyond/New World Shadows, and way better than Grey Heavens (which contains some great songs though, but not as solid as the rest three)

Songwriting wise the album has grown on me a bit but the production is still just too abysmal for me to come back to it all that often. It's truly baffling how a band that has been on the scene for so long can accept having its hard work ruined by incompetent producing.

It just sounds too flat and weak. This is the type of music that's supposed to overwhelm and surround the listener, it should feel and sound huge but it just doesn't. It's also horribly muddy, the guitar melodies have no room to breathe and expand whatsoever and the drums are buried to the point of sounding like they are being played with toothpicks. The vocals sound great, I'll give em that, they are given all the prominence they need in the mix; still not enough to salvage the whole thing though.

Sounded fine when i was blasting it in my car.. I think the people in the parking lot thought there was an earthquake happening with all the double bass going. Might help to own the CD and have a decent system. Play with the equalizer. Doesn't sound much different than other Swano jobs.

I own their entire discography since Stuck Here On Snakes Way so I know what I'm talking about. New World Shadows and Beyond are just on a different planet production wise, a thousand times more crisp, clear, smooth and potent, there's just no comparison. I mean, just listen to that fuckin snare drum on Burning Cold, it's embarassing, it's the least metal thing I've ever heard

Nightwalkers is a masterpiece and no other song of them can even compare to it. I miss such a doomy songs on latest albums.

This album gets better and better with every listen. I find myself wanting to immediately re-listen the whole thing. "The Burning Cold" is slowly but surely is becoming one of my favorites by OG.

Они продолжают писать шедевры.. Черт, это лучшая группа в жанре на данный момент !

Don't quite understand why others are tea ring the new album apart, but I think it's really solid record better than 'Grey Heavens' on par with 'Beyond'

I am so torn on the new album... I like the overall soundscape (soft, proggy, keyboard-heavy lush stuff) and kinda' see where they were going with the production (they just never got there). Still, so much of the album has great moments and arrangements that are buried beneath mediocre songwriting. So much of this CD feels same-ish I just can't believe it's the same OG that created such varied and experimental albums like New World Shadows. Still, probably, the biggest offender is how simillar this album feels to the previous two (and overall never is as good). I used to look at OG as a daring band that can really go places and has yet to find it's sound. Now it just seems like they feel comfortable in their "generic melodeath" niche. Just like Amorphis - they stopped trying and just do their thing.

It's not a bad CD, I'd give it a 7/10 with some really enjoyable moments (Rest In Your Heart or the final three tracks which really feel quite fresh), but then the new Wolfheart single dropped and The Saw is a song that left me more impressed within 5 minutes than Burning Cold did in 50.

Yeah I agree with that but Beyond also had a more straightforward songwriting style and sound after New World Shadows' experiments (which I loved and miss very much). After that it seems like they only got more straighforward (and generic) with each consecutive song. Indeed it does seem that he's not interested in inventing anything anymore here. Wonder what will happen with Insomnium now...

Man alive what a dull, boring and uninspired album. Horribly flat production and painfully mediocre songwriting. Things have really taken a nosedive after Beyond.

Yeah, the verse chorus structure just kills all the momentum and makes the whole thing feel twice as long.

Да, Beyond действительно является отличным альбомом. Но причём тут он, в разделе, пожалуй, самого донного их альбома позднего периода?
