Circle of One is the third album by American vocalist, pianist, and songwriter Oleta Adams. Released in 1990, Circle of One was Adams's first album to receive wide distribution. Her first two albums (an untitled album in 1982 and Going on Record in 1983) were self-financed and received only local distribution.
Adams found success on both sides of the Atlantic upon release of the third single from Circle of One. The song was a cover of Brenda Russell's "Get Here." The single reached #4 on the UK Official Singles Chart and #5 on the US Billboard Hot 100. Circle of One, which had received considerable critical acclaim, peaked at #1 in the UK and made the Top 20 of the U.S. Billboard 200. It was certified Gold in both the UK and the U.S.
