Ocote Soul Sounds is Martin Perna, founder of the New York-based group Antibalas. together with Adrian Quesada, co-founder of the Grammy-winning Latin music powerhouse Grupo Fantasma.
As of 2011, the group has recorded four albums, all released on ESL Music. Their most recent album, "Taurus" was produced by Eric Hilton of Thievery Corporation.
