Biography

No matter how loud the cacophony of chaos, terror, capitalism, suppression and the almost obligatory need for consumption; there is still another way.

A single sentence written in truth can wash away a mountain of lies.

The Destruction, we humans bring to this world, is almost getting Obligatory. Seeking the solution to make people realize what kind of world they live in, to let them think for themselves, to let them breathe clean air, to give them a way to express and release the apathy which lays upon our community. We found a way to express ourselves and are inviting YOU to do the same!

O.H.D. started as a project called Bagger, founded in 2002 in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Some changes were carried on in the line-up, resulting into a musically interesting and powerful brotherhood of friends.

The Destruction is brought to you by:

Dahner: Vocals (also in: The Bitch in the Van)
Renze: Vocals
Mathijs Bodt: Guitar (also in: Ingenium)
Mathijs Rotte: Guitar
Frank: (drums)
Michiel: Bass (also in: Ingenium)

The band really started to concentrate on extreme bands like: Nasum, Death, Napalm Death, Carcass, Cephalic Carnage etc., resulting into a different approach to loud and heavy music.

After experimenting and finding our own style, a new name was given to the project:
Orchestra of Harmonic Disturbance.

O.H.D. started playing shows at venues in support of underground bands like: Vermin, Rompeprop, Toxacara etc. (including competitions which were won: Sp Rood, Genesis: Battle of the Bands.) all across the Netherlands () and private parties to see how the material was being received.

While learning from every new experience, O.H.D. decided to set a higher goal.As well musically, as on a personal level the band made a big growth, which lead to what O.H.D. is today:

OBLIGATOY. HUMAN. DESTRUCTION.

The band recorded 13 tracks for their demo cd, (27/28 dec. 2004) which was called Fuck Mojo (containg 6 songs) and sold over 100 copies. Guus managed to show every concept of our tracks in the cover of 'Fuck Mojo'. The demo cd is still available but we are all out of covers.

O.H.D. produces a mixture of Grindcore, Death/Trash Metal, and mathematical Rockn Roll and is seen as a very energetic live act at top speed with a sprinkling of gore and are willing to do as many shows they possibly can!!
