I love WInter's Eve and Winter's Night but I haven't even bothered to listen to this one for fear of downloading the same thing all over again.

I am on and off with Nox Arcana. I believe they have some gorgeous albums and albums that, while still charming in their own way, lack what I believe they can achieve. This album does not disappoint and offers a beautiful wintery wind. It is a whisper, a delicate step, and per usual just a bit sinister. Yet this album has a more whimsical feel that encases often the feeling of a blistering winter that can both delight and terrify. Songs such as “Shelter From the Cold” and “White Woodlands,” for example, delight with a lighter ballad, whereas “Summon the Wind” has a darker side that bears that of a dark winter King upon his snowy mountain.
