Rules so unbelievably hard. I remember the first time I listened to this I had the biggest fucking grin on my face because of how damn good it is. Every song on here is so awesomely rythmic and catchy that I can't help but tap along to all the instruments. In a way, it reminds me of Minutemen if they wrote longer songs and had heavier production which is big praise for this album given how highly I think of them.

Rarely do I discover an album that stands out enough upon first listen, and makes me wish I had come up with this myself. This is one of those albums.

Impossible to pick a best Nomeansno album, but this one would have to be up there. Perfection.

@jazzorami I don't know anything quite like NoMeansNo, but you can try "Double Nickels on the Dime" by Minutemen, it's not nearly as hardcore, but it has some eclectic punk and quality bass playing as well. Of the other NoMeansNo records I'd strongly recommend "Dance of the Headless Bourgeoisie".

Anyone with even a shred of interest in punk, post-punk, (real) alternative rock, "jazzcore," math rock, etc., etc. should pick this album up at once. This thing is filled top to bottom, front to back with great songs.

Christ was married on the cross, my father was married to my mother, and i am married to a cigarette butt, lying in the gutter.
