"In Two" is the twelfth track on the 2013 release Hesitation Marks.
Beginning with quiet synth layers, the verses open with busy drum loops and repetitive bass with manipulated vocals. These are broken up by layers of high-pitched vocals backed by piano between the first two verses, which later become the prominent features of the chorus, though augmented by a big, simple beat. The song then cuts to a quiet buildup reminiscent of dynamic bridges in songs like "Mr. Self Destruct" and "With Teeth," led by a bassline of 8th notes, atmosphere layers, distant vocals and guitar. They explode into a return to the chorus beat, deep bass and rhinocerous-esque 'swarm' guitar soloing, all of which end the song suddenly and lead directly into "While I'm Still Here."
