"All the Love in the World" is the first track on Nine Inch Nails' fifth full-length album, With Teeth.

The idea of the narrator being or feeling "a million miles away," as sung in this song as an incomplete verse line (and also printed in the additional, unsung lyrics from the With Teeth lyric poster in a different context), seems to reference or relate to the same idea as sung first in "Hurt." It would also be mentioned again in "1,000,000." Whether the three songs are all specifically related beyond repetition of the phrase is publicly unverified.

The song begins with a nearly monotone Trent Reznor singing the verses and repeating, "Why do you get all the love in the world?" Synth drums are used in a slow IDM-esque drumbeat. About three minutes into the song an interpolation occurs. The song transitions into a set of piano chords backed by Dave Grohl's tom-led drums, and eventually a bass guitar beneath layers of Reznor's vocals.

In an interview with Remix Magazine, Atticus Ross explains the approach that was used to record the layered vocals in the outro: "The body of the body of the outro piece on "All the Love in the World" is done in loop record. But he’s not listening to the track he recorded before, in his mind, he knows what he’s aiming for, so he’s just singing different harmonies without hearing the one before. And that goes on for probably an hour with just recording, recording, recording. Then, we go back and go through all the different ideas and kind of arrange them, and he has them up on the board, and through muting, he decides what he does and does not like. And then we go back and retrack if need be. But a great majority of the ideas come from him on the fly. It’s just very unusual that you meet people who generate so many ideas like that."

In the song's appearance on The Definitive NIN - Deep Cuts, there is a layer of additional samples - speech taken from The Twilight Zone episode "And When The Sky Was Opened". A track by Reznor and Atticus Ross on the Before The Flood Soundtrack shares this title.
