"What's Left of Me" is the first single to be released from Nick Lachey's second album, What's Left of Me. The ballad expresses how Lachey feels about the divorce situation with his ex-wife Jessica Simpson. To date, it is Lachey's most successful single as a solo artist.

The new single debuted on AOLMusic.com Friday, February 3, 2006 at 12:01am ET. According to AOL, it was the #1 performing promo on AOLMusic.com's homepage since they started in-depth tracking. 89% of AOL Members who voted on the song gave it a positive rating.

The track's impacts on Top 40 radio occurred in March 2006, though Z-100 in New York, WPRO in Providence and KISS 108 in Boston had already added the song when Nick visited Z-100 on February 10, 2006 and the song has been getting Top 10 phones since.
