This album still holds up 7 years later. It has no right being this good for a "late era" album from an 80s band.

I've been thinking about how this album approaches the basslines (because you know) and there were moments where they can give room to their "signature" melodic basslines, e.g. Plastic and Nothing but a Fool, but I think they realize if they do that too often it looks like they're trying to patch something that's missing so there's a bunch of different ways, like JD with a spin in Singularity or the funky Tutti Frutti or POTHL. It's indicative of a band that's moving forward instead of trying to recreate the music of their glory days because they have nothing else to offer creatively (cough). There's gonna be detractors, sure, but Stephen Morris probably got himself a new tank out of how well this album did so it's all good. Either way, this is by far their best 21st century output and goes toe to toe with their 80s work, looking forward to hear this album in the 2040s as 2010s nostalgia music

Really, really, really like this album! Takes me back to 2019 when I got to hear them play Singularity, Restless and Plastic live. Good memories :)

NO's best post-80s album. i even think it's up there with being one of their best studio albums overall (yes, even next to PC&L). practically all of the tracks gel so excellently with one another, resulting in one of their most vitalising releases.

I thought NO were done, had no idea this album existed...so far, after three tracks... I think it's pretty damn good. For a band this old, they seem very inspired and energized. I'm enjoying it. Maybe I'm getting older myself, but these elderly groups like David Bowie, Paul McCartney, and now NO have put out some nice, quality, relevant stuff in the last few years.

Tutti Frutti and People On The High Line are the best for me, with Elly Jackson singing togheter. But I don't understand why they didn't the mention of "featuring" for these music, they did the same thing for the music with Iggy Pop and Brandon Flowers.

a good album (certainly better than WFTSC) time and repeated plays will reveal if it's a great one
