Most people say you can only be a master at one thing and most likely mediocre at everything else. What happens when you are a creative who has a knack for business and undeniable talent that has proven to be very successful? You get Natalie Lauren. As a small-town country girl from Tulsa, Oklahoma, Natalie found her love for the arts in drawing, and eventually found her way to forming roots in the music industry. Natalie first found her talent working behind the scenes as a songwriter and has since achieved platinum-record success. She has penned hits for artists including Iggy Azalea, Chris Brown, Lecrae, Keke Palmer, Sho Baraka, and Christon Gray. She is a two-time Dove Award recipient from the Gospel Music Association of the United States for outstanding achievements in songwriting for Song of the Year for “I’ll Find You” by Lecrae featuring Tori Kelly, and production for Rap/Hip-Hop Album of the Year for Today We Rebel by KB. 2020 is shaping up to be a big year for Natalie, as she steps out on her own and releases music under her own name. Her funky and uplifting energy shines through on “Something Something,” her latest single.
