Myocardial infarction is a Japanese slam death metal band from Tokyo. They formed in the year 2012. Their band name is the medical term for a heart attack. The band consists of Syn Taguchi (vocals), Naoki Hoshi (guitars), Hiroshi Tomita (guitars), Minoru Makita (bass) and Atsushi Miyata (drums). Myocardial Infarction's past members are Akihiro Muto (vocals), Futoshi Sugoh (guitar) and Takeshi Funayama (bass). The band is signed to Brutal Minds.
