Wow. Crazy how a band like this doesn't get over 1 million listeners but Radiohead gets over 6 million. Wtf.

Finelines is such a beautiful album. I am still very glad that I saw My Vitriol live in 2000. Was definitely not disappointed. Would have loved to have had a lot more from them over the years, but they weren't the only ones with a great first album at that time that suddenly disappeared into the abyss.

If you are a fan of Finelines, you should definitely check out this album: Hundredth - Rare.

Finelines is a great album! But they screwed up when they asked people for money in order to release new material, then gave them an album of discarded "rarities" instead. What a shame that they couldn't get their act together and make a fresh new record...

How can you not forget this group as an awkward youngtster in the uk around that early 2000s era listening to music alternative to the pop crud. To be honest, they soiled their legacy in the hearts of a lot of people. Even though the shoutbox here doesn't give them that justice. For me and my standards, a band who released that one album and now kept my curiousity about them near enough 2 decades fresh... even from a bbc 2 top the pops performance wherre i first heard their music. That's a pretty special group to keep that memory fresh all that time for a fan of that generation of music. Glad you souls have had the priviledge to have discovered/ listened to music they've done. The fine lines album is a cult classic in that era of alternative music in that time of release

"The Secret Sessions" is a much needed comeback that delivers what we missed about My Vitriol just fine. It was a joy filled with much nostalgia listening to the whole album for the first time. It's all very familiar and cosy and I am so glad that they're finally back!

They're now sending requests for people who pledged to update their addresses, with the intention of sending something out in a month or so. I hope that's true, but...I'll believe it when I see it.

Finelines is one of those classic albums from the early 2000s ... Bands like this kept my on the trail of listening to Rock/Alternative/Indie music.... Always was waiting for a follow up album but i suppose not having one in all them years kept this band epic and the album a cult classic.

I'm pretty sure that Boris members listen a lot to Finelines when they were recording Pink.

"Finelines" classic album back then, they even had a few hit singles from the album. One of the essentials in alternative/indie music during early 2000s
